After searching the internet for a solution to the problem of having to choose a page title that also works well as a menu tab, I finally found it. The “All in One SEO Pack” plugin solves this problem. If you notice the title at the top of the page in the example below, you will see it is quite long. However, I wanted a shorter one that would fit in my page navigation area for this demonstration. Without using this plugin, I would have to choose a title that would work in both situations, but now I can choose the best title for each situation.

There is a limit to this plugin though, It doesn’t offer the same option for post titles.

Thankfully, that wasn’t an issue for me at this time.
